A Spring Like Weekend

Ray Ban glasses, 5 years old. I haven't lost them yet!
1950's gingham dress borrowed from Victoria
Vintage patent leather purse
Thrifted Jessica Simpson shoes

This past weekend the weather was just glorious! In the upper 60s with blue skies! So, of course I spent as much time outside as possible. Jonny and I took lots of walks, ate some great food and did lots of nothing, outside of course.

On Sunday afternoon we set out to take pictures of the adorable dress I'm wearing that I'm borrowing from the lovely Victoria of Justice Pirate! It was one of those days that everywhere we went there were tons of people and I was too shy to take pictures in front of them. Finally we found a quite little spot up on the top of a mountain. There was a picnic table and I decided to stand on it, four inch heels and all. Needless to say I felt kinda silly standing on a picnic table on the top of a mountain in a dress and heels when random runners and bikers went by, lol! Oh, but it was fun! ;o)

So cute! You are look lovely in in Victoria's dress! It's always fun to see the same clothing item on a different person and how they bring their own personal style to the outfit.

Oh my gosh--I love the scalloped hem on the dress! So cute!!! :) I can totally relate to the awkward feeling and looks one gets when posing someplace totally random for outfit shots... lol. You chose a beautiful setting though!

in the first picture, I thought it was an apron over a dress, which I adore. so cute and I like that you mixed it with black and not a pale color
